Baba Yusuf Musa is the Director-General of the West African Institute for Financial and Economic Management (WAIFEM). For over two decades, Dr. Musa has been involved in capacity building in the area of Macroeconomic Management, with emphasis on Public Debt Management of Anglophone West African Countries. Dr. Musa had a twenty-one year stint in the Research and International Economic Relations Departments, Central Bank of Nigeria, where he retired as an Assistant Director. He also worked in the Ministry of Education, Plateau State, Nigeria and the National Directorate of Employment (NDE), before joining the Central Bank of Nigeria. Baba Yusuf Musa holds a B.Sc. in Economics, MBA and PhD degrees.
