Mrs Nial Kaba is the first woman to support the Department of Economy and Finance. She was appointed to this position by Decree No. 2012-1119 of 22 November 2012 appointing the members of the government. This appointment is the culmination of a long and rich academic and professional career. After a BA C degree obtained in 1981 at the Lycée Moderne of Abengourou, Mrs. Kaba, in 1985 earned a Masters in Economics from the National University of Ivory Coast. In 1989, she won the Economist Statistician Engineer Diploma and a Diploma of Advanced Studies in International Economics / Development Economics ESDC in Paris at the University of Paris at the Sorbonne. From 1991 to 1996 and from 1996 to 2000, she held the posts of Manager of Research and Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister. She was then Deputy Chief of Staff at the Ministry of Economy and Finance in 2000 before becoming, from 2003 to 2005 the Director of Cabinet of the Minister of Crafts and the Informal Sector Supervision. Finally, from 2005 to 2007, Mrs. KABA held the post of Director General of Tourism Ivory Coast. Mrs. KABA held the position of Minister of Côte d'Ivoire Housing Promotion in the previous government of President Alassane Ouattara.
