Elaine Ding is an Analyst in the World Bank’s Education Global Practice. Her work focuses mainly on teacher professional development, early childhood development, and early grade reading. She was part of the team that launched the Education Practice’s Global Learning Target and accompanying Literacy Policy Package.
Previously, Elaine supported projects and operations for the East Asia and Pacific region of the Education GP and for the Yemen Country Management Unit. Prior to joining the World Bank, she was a primary school teacher in Washington, D.C. Elaine holds a Master’s degree from Harvard University and a Bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University.
