Arun Jaitley, is India’s Union Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs since 2014 and is a distinguished lawyer and prominent leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He is Leader of House, Rajya Sabha in Indian Parliament. He has held important portfolios of Information and Broadcasting, Disinvestment, Law and Justice, Defense, Shipping, Commerce and Industry as a Minister.
He has made significant contributions in the areas of economic liberalization, judicial and electoral reforms and progressive social and economic legislations. He recently steered the much awaited GST legislation in India.
