Originally from Boston, Arielle holds a PhD from UC Davis, where she was a NSF graduate fellow. Her research focuses on flavor chemistry and cuisine, and collaborating with chefs and other food authorities around the world. Arielle has written and spoken on food and science for a variety of outlets and has worked informally with MAD, noma, and the Nordic Food Lab since 2012. In 2014 she moved to Copenhagen to help build and run the noma lab and become our full-time research manager.
