Mr. Sall has an engineering background in telecommunications and civil aviation. He worked for 22 years for ASECNA (Agency for Aerial Navigation Safety in Africa). He was the representative of ASECNA in Senegal and Comoros. He was also auditor of civil aviation on behalf of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in Africa, Europe, and Asia. At that time he headed the security department and quality at the Directorate General of ASECNA. Prior to becoming Minister of Energy, he was Minister for Infrastructure and Transport.
