From 2012-14, Herman served as Ambassador, Danish Embassy, Jakarta, also accredited to Dili, East Timor and Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. Prior to this, he was the Head of Department, Asia and Pacific Ocean Department, and Deputy Head of Department, Development Policy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Mr. Herman holds an M.Sc. in Development Management, London School of Economics and a Master of Economics, University of Copenhagen.
