Dina Ocampo

Dina Ocampo is Professor at the University of the Philippines College of Education where she served as the Dean of the College of Education from 2010-2013. Her research focuses on literacy development and difficulties among Filipino-English bilingual children as well as on education reform and policy. She served as the Undersecretary for Curriculum and Instruction at the Department of Education for the Republic of Philippines from 2013-2017. Presently, she leads the Education Research Program of the University of the Philippines and is co-investigator of the TalkTogether,  a multi-country project on oral language and early literacy made possible by an award from the UK Research & Innovation Global Challenges Research Fund (UKRI-GCRF Collective Fund).
